UK SNIFFER DOGS CLASSES - BRONZE & SILVER LEVELS

Have you ever wanted a go a scent work, well this will be the class for you. I am offering three different options. A six week beginners Class, Bronze and Silver level fun trials (once the beginners class has been completed or Silver Scent has been learnt) as well as the Bronze and Silver Level Grades 1 to 6. This is great for all breeds of dogs in very many ways.

The Beginners, Bronze Courses/Silver continuation Courses can be done as 1 to 1's as well as group classes

BEGINNERS COURSE

This will comprise of a one week taster session which is an introduction to scentwork culminating in your dog being able to detect a Kong in a series of pipes

Once completed you will then be able to join a course for a further 5 weeks learning to detect increasingly smaller pieces of Kong in bag searches, chair searches, vehicle searches and a novel search

Bronze/Silver Level Trials

Bronze/Silver Level Trials will be held 4 times a year. These for want of a better word are mini competitions, you get points for the amount of 'finds' you make and there is a time element too. You will get to do the same search types as in the Beginners Course but in a theme (more to come). You can join a trial once you have a done the 6 weeks beginners course or completed the Silver Scent Detection excercises.

Although it can be a bit competitive (only if you are) it is more about coming and having some fun.

Each pair (dog and human) will be on site for 2 hours

BRONZE/SILVER CONTINUATION CLASSES

The Bronze and Silver Continuation courses are made up of levels to complete and you can start this anytime after completing the Beginners Course

You will be given a booklet of searches to complete for each Level.... but you don't have to do the levels in order, if you can show me you can do something in the booklet you get that excercise stamped. On completion of a Level you will get a certificate and when you complete all six levels you will get the Bronze Certificate, Rosette and a harness/collar bronze patch for you dog.

Rolling course billed at £80 every 5 weeks

1 to 1 £140 for 3 weeks
